A New Friend!

Christin and her 6 month old daughter Miriam came over to play with David a few weeks ago.... I have been very bad and didn't get to post the pics til now... I will upload the videos to YouTube soon and give you all the links... they had so much fun co-playing and were very interested in each other! Can't wait for our next play date! :-)

All 3 Grandmas!

My mom and grandma came up last Friday to take me and David out for my b-day lunch (early, so my grandma could watch me open gifts and visit)... I am 30 tomorrow!!! Then Grandma Jill came by on her way back to Wyoming from Arizona and stayed the night... they all just missed each other by 1 hour :-( but David had fun, though he was fussy most of the afternoon.
I got some great gifts... one of which is Davids high chair and a pair of tennis shoes and some nice skirts, A Knights Tale, and others... looking forward to my moms visit this weekend and my karaoke party!
Well, I am headed to work so I will upload two blogs worth of pics for this one blog and eat my lunch :-)

A Bear!

I was so amazed this morning as I drove past my neighbors house and thought to myself... hmmmm, I think that looked like a bear staring at me... so I backed up and sure enough it was. Didn't have my camera of course! So tonight, driving home I said to Charlie... this is the house that -oh, there is the bear!
He wouldn't let me stay longer than a few seconds as it might attack us........... so I only got these two shot... they are ok, but far from what my camera can do.

Just some cute pics of feeding, he loves sweet potatoes! And Daddy giving him a bath after cereal... what a mess he can make! He almost poses for pictures now... what a cute guy... by the 2nd or 3rd shot he is smiling... he has learned to smile after the flash so it takes a few shots to get a good on, but he is such a sport!

Current Cuteness!

While David is still napping thought I better get caught up on some of the cute pics from the last few weeks. The first one is the four month pic for the birth to 1 year frame I gave the grandmothers for Mothers Day.
He is just getting so big and good at tummy time and holding his head up, he even can pick a toy he wants and lean forward and get it, sometimes falls on his face, but when I put him back up he has the toy and a big smile! He is using his hands to pass toys back and forth and explore textures, he even pets my hair sometimes... better than pulling it!

ASK!

Ok, I can quit crying in my casserole, lol! They came to visit this morning... just after Davids rice and bottle and before his nap, which he has been on for about an hour now, they wore him out!
So here are some cute pics of Angela, Skylar and Kirk with David... or CJ as they call him for Charlie Jr., lol... pretty cute, since me and Charlies initials are CJ also!

No new pics... from tonight that is.

I have some cute pics to pull together of David to be sure... but I was hoping for pics of Skylar, Angela and Kirk with David... maybe tomorrow if they stop by... guess there was a miss-communication about dinner, turned out to be just me and David tonight... well, the roommates liked the zuccini casserole (sp) and we will have the pork chops tommorrow, so that saves me some thinking... I do have egg salad ready for lunch if they do stop by... I was really looking forward to having a dinner party with them all though... maybe another time... so I should have pics of them from tomorrow... cousins... how cute! I can't wait.

David can swim....

...well almost, he kicks and doesn't mind getting splashed and loves his float (thank you Katie!) and had a really great time and attracted lots of ladies! lol
He will get to start swim class in two months, yay! So I want him to be ahead of everyone, of course, lol! I took so many swim classes I finally dropped out after around 12 years and diving leasons... didn't want to dive or start to compete... I am not that fast really, just a good floater!
David did not cry, did not fuss, did not shiver, but after almost an hour we decided he was getting tired. He crashed around 7:45 tonight and I don't even think he will wake when I move him from the living room to his bed... remains to be seen, but he did eat a good dinner of peas (another first today!) and 6 oz of formula, so we will see.
Well, Katie got us a few passes and says she can get more... what a great help as any passes no matter the cost are more than we can afford now... so it is so nice that she not only is giving them and the float to us, but she also came and took pictures of us and played with David so I could film and take pics...... always the photographer, never the subject -if I can help it!
Well... I will get uploading now, probably need two blogs full.... so that means I am ready to do another Walmart.com upload this week, email me and I will make sure you get a link (you don't need to worry if I already have your email I will send it to you, but comments are more than welcome! I want to know that you enjoy this as much as I do!) and I will post the video on YouTube as soon as I can and link it here as well, later! :-)
